Little Comet Garradd, or 2009/P1, was discovered on August 13th 2009 from Australia. During 2011 it became visible in the northern sky and did a very scenic tour, passing M15 in Pegasus, M71 in Sagitta, and the Coathanger cluster. The sketch shows the comet in Pegasus two nights before its 'flyby' of M15. Not content with that, at the beginning of February 2012, now in the morning sky from the UK, it does a close pass of M92 in Hercules at 2 magnitudes brighter than when this sketch was done..
