NGC205 is also known as M110, however it was never recorded by Messier or Mechain. Why is a mystery, because if you look at Messier's drawing of M31, the Andromeda Galaxy, it's there, and that's why it has its 'unofficial' Messier object status. It's not such an obvious companion as M32 except on photographs. Through a telescope it's generally about one eyepiece field away from M31 and on the opposite side to M32.
