Ophiuchus the serpent holder was low in the sky when this image was taken, but it stretches from the arc of three stars at the bottom to the 'hat' of three two thirds of the way up. Ophiuchus is noted for its globular clusters, but there are also some lovely open clusters in IC4665 and NGC663.
